Hi all!
Earlier on, I introduced the newly packaged Elizabethย Arden Beautiful Colors Single Eyeshadow HERE. The packaging is classic and though quite matured, it is something luxurious that girls of all ages wanted to own.
The top of the single eyeshadows has a reflective mirror surface as well as their iconic red door enamel.
The compacts are small, sleek and easy to carry around in your makeup pouches.
Engraved in the eyeshadow is their iconic red door logo as well. Each eyeshadow comes with a disposable sponge tip applicator as well as full mirror for easy application of your eyeshadow.
The shades that I have, kindly gifted by Elizabeth Arden, areย Shimmery Copper and Iridescent Pink.
Shimmery copper is a copper shade, no doubt, but it has less of an orange tone to it compared to some of the copper eyeshadows that I have owned. Iridescent Pink is of a pearl finish and while the swatch of this is not as intense as the copper shade, an eye primer should do the trick.
Swathes:
The texture is very buttery and creamy. It’s vibrant colour lasted on my eyes even after sweating up a storm (literally!) at my recent SCAPE flea a few Sundays ago. I wore the eyeshadows from 11am till 10pm and there was not much significant fading.
Look of the day:
Some may be afraid of wearing just pink eyeshadow all over their eyelids but I think we can all pull off this colour as long as we place some neutral colours back into our crease. Here I usedย Iridescentย Pink on the lids and the Shimmery Copper on my crease. Most of all, I love the eyeshadows for the skincare properties it carries. Makeup and skincare in one product is my new favourite love!
