Hi Everyone!
Recently came back from Japan – the land of skincare of cosmetics, aside from the eating and sightseeing – Japan is truly the work of wonder! There is no excuse NOT to shop at the Japanese drugstores. Each trip we made, we bought enough to claim for duty free which can be easily refunded on the spot at the shops. I guess this is how the Japanese Tourism Board encourages the tourists to shop, and shop, and shop.
Reveal – this is the damage for my trip. I made sure that I purchased items that are highly raved, or earned a #1 rank in the Cosme Japanese cosmetics rating site.
Skincare Haul
- Senka perfect whip foaming face wash
- Ferment sake facial wash – I could not get my hands on the #1 rated sake wash so this is an alternative brand
- Naturie skin conditioner
- Clear turn babyish face mask
- Suisai powder face wash
- Taiyo hyaluronic acid serum
Cosmetics Haul
- Jourmoe 3 in 1 liner, eyeshadow pencil
- Monte flowfushi eyeliner in brown
- Sana suhada kinebni skincare powder
- Sana new born eyebrow 2 in 1 shadow and pencil
- Yojiya aburatorigami facial oil blotting papers
First impression, skincare powder works great for me as a touch up compact. Firstly, the plastic compact is lightweight. Secondly, a puff is provided. The skincare properties in the compact really helps with the moisture I had lost while wearing my makeup throughout the day, especially when I get pretty dehydrated skin most of the times.
First impression, I had been using this for a few times, and all I had to do is to throw in this into my makeup pouch for a touch up rather than lugging along, 1 eyeliner pen, 1 liquid eyeliner pen and one eyeshadow compact.
Swatches looks pretty good. The brown eyeliner tip is super fine as well.
Japanese really makes makeup so easy. The eyeshadow enclosed in the pencil save up so much space for an eyeshadow compact. The only thing I worry is, how many applications can I get out of this eyeshadow?
First impression, the eyebrow pencil glides on easily and I love the convenience of the powder to fill in the gaps of my sparse eyebrow. This product is easy to use for a quick touch up for my brows.
I love all the products so far, and they truly do not disappoint!
