Hi all!
I haven’t done hauls in a while and these were recently purchased from Sephora which I feel deserve a shout-out.
Herbivore Rose Hibiscus Face Mist (S$25 for 60ml)
A purchased a small bottle to try after seeing this product being on so many beauty bloggers’ IG feeds. From the Sephora website, this is a base of coconut water is infused with youth-boosting hibiscus flower petals and moisture-enhancing Bulgarian rose to tone, hydrate and soften all skin types. The hibiscus flower is naturally rich in malic and citric acid that exfoliate and speed up cell turnover for a more even skin tone, while rose is high in antioxidants and helps reduce redness and inflammation.
I spritzed this over my face after cleansing my face in the morning and patting the mist into my skin. This acts as a form of toner to prep my skin before moisturizer. This gives my skin a little tingling perk me up mainly due to the citric acid as well. After this regime for a few weeks, I actually find my skin to be smoother and my foundation glides on better on my skin and lasted much longer in the day too. Once this bottle is done, I could totally decant my gigantic bottle of Witch Hazel into this smaller spray bottle and recycle the packaging. Would definitely repurchased a bigger bottle in the future.
Sachajuan Scalp Shampoo S($38 for 250ml)
From the Sephora website, this shampoo has been specially formulated with piroctone olamine and climbazole to remove dry dandruff from hair and soothe irritated scalps. Natural extracts help to calm the scalp while maintaining a healthy moisture balance of hair and scalp leaving it looking and feeling fresh.
What I like about this shampoo is that it is hydrating as compared to some deep cleansing scalp shampoo that drys out the scalp and the hair. This reduce the itchiness of my scalp even though I could not determine if my scalp was dry or oily at times as it seems to change based on my hormonal changes throughout the month. The shampoo is suitable for me throughout the month regardless. It is a great shampoo for the humid weather.
