This is a quick review on the Naruko skincare from this post HERE.
These products are under the Naruko Marjoram and Lavender Classic Brightening line which targets brightening, whitening as well as moisturizing.
Both products have the same jelly texture, which is similar to gel but slightly thicker.
I have been using these samples for a few weeks now and here are my thoughts.
Marjoram and Lavender Classic brightening night jelly
Price: $21.90 / 60ml
Ingredients: Phytoferulin®, Sun’er Complex®, Hyaluronic Acid, Ethyl Ascorbic Acid, Ascorbyl Glucoside, Vitamin E Filling Spheres, Botanical Oil Filling Spheres, Ellagic Acid Filling Spheres, Matricaria Maritime, Botanical Essential Oils
Description: NARUKO Marjoram and Lavender Classical Brightening Night Gelly is a high potency whitening, hydrating and anti-aging over-night care that contains Ellagic Acid Filling Spheres, Sun’er Complex®, Ethyl Ascorbic Acid and Ascorbyl Glucoside. It repairs and comforts during nighttime for fairer complexion. Blended with Lavender Essential Oil, it relaxes your nerves with pleasant aroma and retains skin’s translucency.
First thing first, let me comment on the packaging. Any products that come in a jar packaging is always unhygienic. Even though the full size product (mine is sample size) has a scoop, the products are often exposed to the environment from the occasional opening of the lid. Perhaps this did not come in a pump bottle because the consistency of the product is thick and might clog the pump.
Now onto the product, this thick jelly like gel texture is fun to play with. Although I describe this as thick, it is nothing like a cream and can be used on oily skins alright. You will not feel any greasy feeling when applied. However, I do not think this is meant to be absorbed like a moisturizer and is more suited as a overnight mask. Your hair might stick to your face when sleeping.
Regarding the moisturizing factors, I find that if I were to apply a thin layer of this, it somehow dries my skin even more. I wake up with dehydrated skin the next morning. To prevent that from happening, I need to be very generous with the application of the product. If I use enough of this jelly, my skin would be plump with moisture when I wake up.
It is hard for me to comment on the whitening factors as I did not see much difference for my skin. Perhaps I would need to use this longer for the effect to take place. Well at least I did not get tanned or darker.
A pro for the product is that I believe this is suitable for sensitive skin as it does not contain alcohol. But, it does contain Lavender Essential Oil which may be an irritant to some people. The fragrance is well smells like lavender and I do not have any reaction to the fragrance as of yet.
Would I recommend this? Yes, if you need a overnight mask.

The unique combination of botanical extracts and whitening agents helps brighten and vitalize your eyes by boosting the metabolism and combating free radicals.
My eyes have always been puffy regardless of whether I sleep early or not. Dark circles is another problem that I face but luckily that only occur when I have lack of sleep. Using this eye product, I do find my eye bags less puffy, however, I do not see much difference for my dark circles. Some article that I came across mentioned before that dark circles cannot be diminished, but only by laser or some eye surgery. I am not sure how reliable this source is but perhaps this product is not doing much for dark eye circles. As for hydration, I find that this is fairly okay, just like other regular moisturizing eye products. I do like that it helps my puffy eye bags.
Would I recommend this? Perhaps, if I have no other eye products to try.
