Hi all!
Hygge is a Danish word, used for being present and recognising a moment that feels so cosy, charming, sweet or nice, whether it’s simple or special, whether you are alone or with friends and family. This is a part lifestyle shop, part cafe. If you find the layout of the cafe familiar, this cafe unit used to be the previous unit for Shop Wonderland before they move.
Opened in June, this cafe has a cozy vibe with clean tones and a floral theme, mainly dried flowers. Even though the cafe name is inspired by Danish, I would have to say that the theme of the cafe is very much Zakka-like.
The cafe is opened by a husband and wife duo and I overhead their conversation that this is not the first time they dabbled in the F&B scene.
Well, we certainly know that it is not their first as their cakes at the display looks perfect! However, as there is a constraint space for the kitchen, expect a simple menu if you are looking for full meals. Their kitchen has an cake oven, so the cakes may be home-made.
If your feet is tired out from a day’s shopping at Bugis or Haji Lane, do consider this cafe to relax. I hope that this cafe has more things to offer in the future!
