I have been using NALC skincare products for the past week or so, namely their Sunscreen and All in One gel.
NALC is from Japan and they believes that it is possible to create skincare that is suitable for anyone, regardless of skin type. Their products are forumalated with the least number of ingredients and not being excessive in their ingredients that may irritate sensitive skin. NALC is committed to using only the highest quality ingredients, our products are ethically sourced, produced, and quality-assured in Japan.
Full Ingredient List:
Water, Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate, BG, Hexyl Diethylaminohydroxybenzoate, Cyclopentsailoxane, Polysilicone-15, Diethylhexyl carbonate, Dimethicone, Pentylene Glycol, Phenoxyethanol, (Acyloyldimethyltaurine Ammonium/VP) Copolymer, Hydroxybrovyl Methyl Cellulose stearoxy ether, BHT, T-Butanol, Glycyrrhizic acid 2k, Hyalouronic Acid, Clara Root Extract
This sunscreen has a high SPF50+ PA++++ that can protect our skin from UV radiation. It’s claimed to be forumulated with Hyaluronic Acid and anti-inflammatory ingredients to care for skin. Looking at the ingredient list, the hyaluronic acid and clara root extract which is the anti-flammatory properties are the at end of the ingredient list. Hence, you would still need to have your own moisturizer to hydrate your skin.
It is also 6 addictives free, meaning no paraben, fragrance, alcohol, colorant, mineral oil or surfactant.
Texture-wise, this has a slight silicone feel, and my skin actually feels smooth after application. This probably due to the emollients in the sunscreen such as cyclopentasiloxane which is basically a lightweight silicone with a silky and slippery feel and Diethylhexyl carbonate which is a synthetic oil like ester that functions as a skin conditioning agent.
This sunscreen is supposedly easy to remove, with just water and no scrubbing. However, with the presence of silicon like Dimethicone, I would still continue doing my double cleansing as with any other sunscreens.
What is unique about this sunscreen is its patented Japanese technology for its three-phase emulsification method. This enables long-lasting waterproof properties. Having this waterproof makes it even less sticky in humid weather like ours! It makes wearing a sunscreen a joy, and I actually enjoyed reapplying this sunscreen as it does not feel thick and heavy on my skin.
Overall, I recommend this sunscreen as it is lightweight, has no white cast, and makes your skin smooth to the touch.
It retails at $34.90 at the NALC Shopee Store
