Hi everyone!
In my earlier post on the NALC waterproof UV protect SPF50++++ sunscreen here. NALC hopes to change the current situation in the market where many products formulate an excessive amount of ingredients that might irritate sensitive skin in order to create a desirable texture for consumers. Thier simple formulations omit ingredients that are likely to cause skin reactions, making it gentle enough for anyone, regardless of age, gender, and skin types.
Today, I would be reviewing their NALC Medicated Moisturizer All-In-One Gelย (Wrinkle care, preventย dark spot, Acne Care) Gel.
Ingredient List:
Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate, Tranexamic Acid, Water, Butylene Glycol, Glycerin, Dipropylene Glycol, Diglycerin, PEG/PPG/Polybutylene, Glycol-8/5/3 Glycerin, Tocopherol, Arginine, Hydroxyproline, Ceramide 2, Ceramide NP, Cynara Scolymus (Artichoke) Leaf Extract, Sodium Acetylated Hyaluronate, Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Seed Extract, Scutellaria Baicalensis Root Extract, Carbomer, Xanthan Gum, Hydrolyzed Collagen, Dipentaerythrityl Tetrahydroxysterate/Tetraisosterate, Dimethsianol, Hyaluronate, Ramella Fuciformis (Mushroom) Extract, Glycine Soja (Soybean) Seed Extract, Sodium Hyaluronate, Hydroxypropyltrimonium Hyaluronate, TV Actinium Myrtillus Leaf Extract, Phenoxyethanol, Simmondsia Chinesis (Jobaba) Seed Oik, PEG-400, Hydrolyzed Elastin, Limnanthes Alba (Meadowfoam) Seed Oil, Hydrolyzed Hyaluronic Acodi, Hydrogenated lecithin
This Medicated Moisturizer is a medicated all-in-one gel that tackles 3 largest skin issues – prevent dark spots, acne, and wrinkles – in one step. One bottle of NALC Medicated Moisturizer All-In-One Gel replaces 4 skincare steps: lotion, milky lotion, facial essence, and cream. A full skincare product set usually costs a bomb, but with NALC Medicated Moisturizer All-In-One Gel, you only need to spend 1 item which is pocket friendly!
This is free from 5 ingredients known to aggravate the skin -alcohols (ethanol), mineral oil, petroleum-based surfactants, artificial coloring, and parabens.
NALC recommends that this can be used to be applied after washing your face when you feel that your skin is tight and dry. This is a squeeze tube bottle which makes it hygienic compared to skincare in a jar. In fact, I actually place this next to my shower so that I can apply this every time I finished my shower. As a person with dry skin, my skin always feel tight and dry after a warm shower. This is my lifesaver as it plumps up my dehydrated and dry skin immediately.
Texture-wise:
This is another lightweight product which I actually used twice. Once before the NALC sunscreen and another after the NALC sunscreen application. My skin still feels refreshed, and non-sticky.
Looking at their ingredient list, the first 2 key ingredients are Dipotassium glycyrrhizinate which is a Licorice plant extract that works against sensitive skin reactions and prevents common skin issues such as acne, heat rash, frostbite, cracked skin, and chapped skin. The second in the ingredient list is the whitening active ingredient, tranexamic acid which suppresses the production of melanin to reduce the appearance of spots and freckles. Hence, with the tranexamic acid, I feel this goes hand in hand with the NALC Sunscreen.
Other notable ingredients that are at the top of the ingredient list are the antioxidants Tocopherol which is Vitamin E and Arginine which is an amino acid. There is also the presence of collage amino acids and ceramides which are essential for plumping up dry and dehydrated skins.
Overall, this is a great all in one product with natural soothing agents, emollients, antioxidants, and more. I totally recommend this!
The gel retails at $45.00 at the NALC Shopee Store
