Armed with a wealth of knowledge from her 20 years in perfumery, Maison 21G’s founder Johanna Monange has been working with various fragrance powerhouses as a scent designer and a creative director. She played a vital part in the creation of worldwide bestsellers such as Lancôme La Vie est Belle, Paco Rabane One Million, Armani Aqua di Gioia.

Understanding best practice in global perfume brands, she saw the opportunity to bring high-quality scents directly to the consumer. Johanna wants to allow for individuality, and is therefore giving people the freedom to find the scent that is right for them as a person and the moment they are wearing it.

Maison 21G has cut out all intermediaries in the perfume industry and put us in direct contact with their natural and high-quality perfume essences. Every tailor-made perfume is freshly blended and created by us, for us, giving us total freedom to express our unique personality.

You are in control

Based on machine learning, their AI-powered app guides us in your creation to mix the right ingredients according to our personality, occasion and taste. But ultimately, we choose your perfume and make it uniquely ours.

Clean eau de parfum

All Maison 21G perfumes contain 21% perfume concentrate which is the highest in the industry. All their scents are eaux de parfum and are cruelty-free, without preservatives, GMOs, CMR substances or phthalates. Their packaging is re-usable and we offer sustainable refills for our perfumes.

Haute couture natural essences

Their scents are accords designed around iconic natural ingredients straight from the famous IFF Laboratoire Monique Rémy in Grasse, France. These essences in any combination will make our perfume creation stand out from the crowd.

I opted to customize my perfume based on ingredients that I love. So I told the Maison 21G team that I love anything with Honey or Pomegranate. In the end, they customized for me perfume with Honey, Pear and Fig. It has a perfect blend of sweetness and citrus. Even my husband thinks that this scent is well suited for me. The pear first appeared in Central Asia. In China, its cultivation began more than 4 millennia before our era. It then crossed the Asian continent to reach Europe, where the Greeks and Romans were the first to adopt it. In Ancient Rome, pears were eaten raw, cooked or dried and to bring good health.

It is not possible to extract pear essential oil so its scent is, therefore, reproduced by the magic of the perfumers. To do this, they use a group of molecules called esters or acetates mixed with natural ingredients like citrus or fresh florals to reproduce its original smell. The scent composed is particularly suitable for fine perfumery in top notes and can be used in both men’s and women’s creations. The scent is not poppy nor show-offy but versatile, as people will appreciate it quite easily.
