A few weeks back, there was an Estee Lauder Private Sale being held at Sands Expo Center. Estee Lauder holds their private sale to their staffs and friends annually and big thanks to Junry for the ticket to the sale!
Here is my haul! I was well-behaved and did not splurge recklessly.
From Estee Lauder.
From Bobbi Brown.
And lastly DKNY. DKNY Be Delicious has always been one of my favorite scents and since I have finished my bottle from ages ago, I decided to get this full sized 50ml from the sale for only SGD50!
These two MAC nail lacquers were going for $5 each instead of the $10. There is benefit of going to the sale late. Even though you might have missed out some limited edition from Mac, heading to the sale late might get you a few bucks off some items since the brand is trying to clear their stocks!
Left: Vestral White and Right: Life and Beth
I also purchased a fluidline from MAC in Dark Diversion for SGD10, since I have been really curious about the hype of this eyeliner.
This shade in dark aversion is a dark plum-brown which is great when paired with neutral eyeshadows and is not as intese as stark black.
I wasn’t expecting myself to haul any eyeshadows because I have simply too many in my current stash but this eyeshadow really caught my fancy. Plus for SGD$12 per pop, why not?
This Estee Lauder Gelee powder eyeshadow is really silky and smooth when swatched. There is also a hint of duo-chrome in this gelee powder eyeshadow in Arctic Sky.
This swatch is without primer and with primer, I think the colour will pop even more! This is a cornflower blue with hints of pink shimmers that makes it looks like a duo-chrome.
My biggest splurge here is this Bobbi Brown pretty powerful pink and platinum collection that was selling for SGD$60 at the sale.
While it may seem like a splurge, this is actually a bang for the buck because inside this set you get a pouch with these items below!
This set got me so excited because I have been dying to try their rouge pot and highly raved cream eyeliner for ages.
This cream eyeshadow is also so pretty! I can probably layer this below or underneath eyeshadows.
And with this highly raved cream eyeliner, I shall do a comparison review between this eyeliner and MAC fluidline one day.
This rouge pot in power pink gives a really nice flush to the skin as well.
I can definitely see myself wearing this instead of reaching out for my usual powder blushes.
Lastly, in the set, there is also a gorgeous neutral pink lip colour in Party Alice. A full sized lipstick!
Here are all the swatches of some of my few hauled items:
As I was taking pictures for this haul post, it got me thinking that I might not use these Bobbi Brown items as much as the others. So I decided to let them go.
- Bobbi brown lip colour in Party Alice – $12
- Bobbi brown mascara – $8
- Bobbi brown eyeliner/eyeshadow brush – $8
Please leave a comment with your email address if you would like to get your hands on these items.
