Hi everyone,
First off, Merry Christmas! Hope you guys had a great day!
This is a very outdated post! The pictures were taken more than 6 months ago, nevertheless, I am still going to post this up because some products are worth mentioning.
Aussie 3 minute miracle – Very affordable hair treatment conditioner from drugstore.com. I always use this as my regualrย conditionerย after I wash my hair.
Nivea essential care lip balm – My go to lip balm every since I first used it about a decade ago.
Heorine make volumizing mascara – I love the brush as it deposit the mascara nicely on my lashes, giving it enough volume at the roots. My lashes will not clump easily with this volumizing mascara.
EOS lip balm – I used to love it, but I think it is making my lips peel, causing me to apply lip balm constantly.
Giorgio Armani Lasting UV Silk powder foundation – My shade for this is 3.5 and this has a strong yellow tone which you seldom find in powder foundations. A thumbs up for this! The coverage is medium to full, but it is best not to layer this powder foundation as it may look cakey.
Moroccan Argan Oil – I find this mask mediocre. My favourite is still Essentials Shea Butter Hair Mask.
Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation – I mix this with my Nars Sheer Glow foundation to get the perfect mixture that can give me a nice sheen to my face without over-mattifying it. With the double wear, my foundation can last much longer, more than 6 hours.
Kose Freshel Cleansing Oil – Many seem to break out for it, but for me luckily, I did not face any breakout problems. This does not cleanse as well as some of my regular cleansing oil but I guess it still does its job.
This picture was taken a few months back!
Clinique Super Rescue Antioxidant Night Moisturizer – This is available in the US only I think as this version is meant for very dry to dry skin. Even though the texture is quite thick, it does not feelย moisturizingย on the skin. But overall, the antioxidant properties really help calm down the redness of my cheeks a lot.
Paula’s Choice Skin Recovery Hydrating Treatment Mask – I like to use this at night like a sleeping pack. This really help to retain all the moisture in my skin during my sleep. Having tried the Laneige sleeping mask which is a hot seller in Asia, I actually prefer this more because it is more suitable for sensitive skin like mine.
L’occitane Ultra Comforing Cleansing Milk – This claims to be able to remove makeup but I disagree because this does nothing at removing makeup! There is no foaming at all, and I really don’t feel like my skin is clean after using this. However, I do find this comforting and moisturizing. Still, I do not think I will repurchase this again because it cannot cleanse well.
Aussie Hair Insurance Leave in Conditioner – I love the coconut smell of this leave in conditioner and I like using this to detangle my hair after shower. Did I mention that Aussie hair products are affordable?
Paula’s Choice Skin Balancing Cleanser – This cleanse well, and it is suitable for sensitive skin. Works well with my Clarisonic too. With this cleanser, I do not get any tight feeling on my skin after cleansing. All in all, my regular go-to cleanser.
L’Oreal Inoa Color Care Conditioner – This condition contains Argan oil and green tea extract. This conditioner not only keep my hair ends silky soft and smooth, it protects the hair colour as well. Definitely will consider getting this again if I were to dye my hair, soon perhaps?
Nars Sheer Glow Liquid Foundation – My shade for this is Gobi which is a yellow based shade for very fair skin tone. As mentioned above, I love using this together with my Estee lauder double wear. When worn alone however, I feel that this foundation does not last as long as it will slide off my face. But with the EL DW, it is an excellent combination.
DHC Deep Cleansing Oil – Among all the cleansing oil I have tried, I like this the best. With the olive oil based cleansing oil, my skin does not feel like it has been striped of all the natural oils. It is not over-drying for my dry skin. Best of all, it cleanse very well even if I wear waterproof foundation.
Above is theย ingredientย list in case you are interested. The mini bottle is actually from my Vanity Trove.
Thanks for reading ~
