Big parties may be no longer a reality in Singapore but I am optimistic thing one day, a group of family/friends of over 5 can gather together for a celebration. Till then, we can only look forward and pray for a better future. If you see at most bakeries nowadays, most of the cakes are of 4″ or 6″ big. It’s funny how this COVID-19 situation has caused so many businesses to change their tactics and also go through digital transformation. There are not many bakeries nowadays baking huge cakes but I believe the demand is still there!

When I ordered my cake from Cake Delivery Singapore, I was amazed by the size of the 9.5″ cake! This is a 1.3kg cake that can be cut up to 12 slices!

Even my dog is stunned by the sheer size of the cake! This can feed up to 12 people!

I chose Yuzu Osmanthus Citrus Cake refreshing citrus as we wanted a cake that is light and palatable with our taste buds. Sure enough, the texture of the cake is fluffy and each bite has the zing to it with the yuzu cream in between the sponge layers.

The cake is glazed by an airy whipped cream that is not too filling. I would totally order this again. Now my only wish is that it comes in a smaller size so that I can treat myself to some of the cake on days when I am not celebrating.

This cake is priced at $64.90 and for a 9.5″ / 1.3kg cake, that is so worth it!

Delivery

Cake Delivery also provides 1 hour same day delivery for orders above $80. Need a last minute cake? I love bakeries who can attend to last minute orders.

For reference, the standard delivery is $8, and for 1-hour same-day delivery should your orders be less than $80 would be at $18. Do take note of extended hours delivery between 10pm to 8am at $25.

During the checkout, you would be able to select time slots of an 1-hour interval which is super convenient as there are bakeries that only give a time range when doing deliveries.
