In support of the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA), The Body Shop® will be holding a series of activities and sales for animal lovers and their furry friends.
The Body Shop® has always been committed to animal welfare and the position against animal testing. All products from The Body Shop® are derived from natural ingredients and endorsed as Cruelty-Free by the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PeTA).
World Animal Day 2012

Marking the start of the Body Shop® fund raising initiatives will be the participation in the World Animal Day 2012. Working together with the SPCA, The Body Shop will be setting up a booth at the fair. In addition to the sale of The Body Shop® products which includes shower gels, body butter and body lotions ranging from $5-$10, The Body Shop® will also be doing „Paw-fect? art, where pet owners can take home a nicely framed art piece created by their animal friends for $5. All proceeds raised will go to SPCA.
From 1 – 12 October, Barkery will be selling a set of 4 SPCA-designed pupcakes (cupcakes for dogs) at $15 to raise funds for SPCA. For every set of pupcakes purchased, $12 of the sale will go to SPCA.

Brunch with Your Doggies

Collaborating with the Doggiestyle Café, The Body Shop® will be organising a get-together for the pet lovers and their furry companions. For just $50 per ticket, participants will get to have a set of sumptuous tea reception, a dog snack for a goodie bag of The Body Shop® goodies, ADDICTION pet food and Doggiestyle Café dining vouchers worth more than $50. All profits will go to the SPCA. Tickets can be purchased at the World Animal Day (Doggiestyle Café booth) or at Doggiestyle Café (6648 5485/ firstname.lastname@example.org).
