I just stumbled upon something that I decided to blog about it out of excitement!
“Ladurée (French pronunciation: [la.dy.?e]) is a luxury cakes and pastries brand based in Paris, France. It is known as the inventor of the double-decker macaron, fifteen thousand of which are sold every day. They are still one of the best known makers of macarons in the world.” Taken from wikipedia.com.
Rarely would you link cosmetics to macaron but Ladurée has done it! Ladurée would be debuting their makeup line, Ladurée Les Merveilleuses, on 29th January 2012 (Japan)!

As I was browsing on Iris’ blog (HERE) for some information on Addiction cosmetics, I chanced up another blogger Miss Elainnio’s post on Voce Spring Summer 2012 collection showcase. From there on, I was enlightened as I reached this page.
Above picture is from Miss Elannio’s blog post HERE.
My heart melted when I saw this. Being quite obsessed with French decorations and almost French everything, I was on cloud 9 when I knew that I can see this collection for myself during my Osaka trip in June later this year. If everything is according to plan, there would be at least one purchase from Ladurée Les Merveilleuses in Osaka!
Head over to Iris’s blog HERE for the price list in Yen.
Beside colour makeup, LLM would be debuting their base makeup as well, such as their facial powder below.
I cannot wait to see these in person and hopefully not splurge on every item from this collection. If you like the packaging of Anna Sui, Jill Stuart or Paul and Joe, I am sure LLM’s packaging would be very eye-catching to you!
Visit this blog, 25ans HERE, for more drool-worthy photos such as the one above! Photo is from 25ans.
I am most fascinated by their face powder in the form of petals. I really hope I get to see swatches of this makeup line soon.
