On November 18, 2010 by Michelle Ng

Hi everyone,

Remember I received some B•liv skincare products from Cellnique not long ago?

It has been 3 weeks since I included these into my skincare regime and now it is time to tell the verdict.

Disclaimer: These products were sent to me but all my reviews are honest!

Right, let me first start with introducing this company briefly.

Taken from B•liv website, B•liv is driven by a decade’s worth of expertise in the professional beauty salon industry, b•liv has the impeccable pedigree of being the creation of Asia’s most effective paramedical salon brand, Cellnique Paramedical. Originally named “Cellnique Pro-Series”, the brand has been renamed to b•liv by Cellnique to better reflect its objective of catering to the confident, stylish, dynamic and on-the-go youth with a skincare routine made specifically for them with proven results and easy to use!

14 days Money Back Guarantee
All b•liv products are sold with a 100% money back guarantee with no questions asked. If our products are not performing up to the customer’s expectation within 14 days of purchase, we will refund the full price (excluding postage fees). What I received:

  3. Quench Me

Packaging

What I like about these are that they have a pump which is sanitary. However, these are no tube pumps but vaccum pumps instead. Vaccum pumps are known for being faulty easily. This unfortunately happened for my “Quench me” bottle as I was unable to squirt out any product at all. For ordinary pump bottles, you can just unscrew the cap and scrap off any residue on the tube that reaches down to the bottom of the bottle. Since this is a vacuum bottle, there is no other way but to use your pinkie to dig the products out. This may work if your last finger is slim enough or else you would need a spatula which is very troublesome. It took a few days for the vacuum bottle to function properly as it take time for the air to push the base of the bottle upwards, until the products can reach the mouth of the bottle/pump.

My review: In my opinion, I wish I love this product but this is just one ordinary moisturizer. It does quench your face a little but that is all it does. What is a plus is that it is a gel moisturizer which allows fast absorption into your skin. Once applied, it immediately disappears on my skin. I am unsure if this is good or bad but either way, this is still not moisturizing enough for me. Please do take note that my skin is quite dry. For the price of this product, I wished that this moisturizer could have taken an extra mile. There are better alternatives out there in the market.

My review: This is the star product of B•liv and I have high hopes for it. Does it really remove all blackheads it claims to do? Well, in my case (with horrible skin), my blackheads did reduce in number but not significantly. The reason I said this is because I have way too many flaws on my skin, so I doubt any product would be able to cause a significant effect on my skin. To be able see/feel an improvement on my skin is already a miracle to me. Eventhough not all my blackheads are gone, I still love this as my skin feels softer. I do not know why but yes, my skin is smoother and softer. I used to have a lot of tiny pimples on my heads and they are now gone too, leaving a very smooth skin. I guess for me, this product is more of a “off with those nasty forehead pimples” for me.  Hence, what I can comment is that this product works differently on different individual and you might need to try to know the result.

My review: Oh my pores are humongous, like craters on my skin! If you have seen me in person with minimal makeup, you would have known what I meant. I was searching high and low for pore minimizing serum and I am glad to have tried this. My pores on my cheeks did become slightly teeny smaller, but they are still huge. The only visible result that I observe is that my skin is less oily. I believe it is this serum that is playing the part. The serum seems to be working more effectively on the side of my face and chin that have smaller pores compared to those of my cheeks. This menas that the serum is working, but not to an extent that it can close up gigantic pores effectly.

Now, the good part!
