Reveal: Vanity Trove January 2013

On January 3, 2013 by Michelle Ng

Hi everyone!

Vanity Trove January box just arrived and I can’t wait to show you guys what is in it.

Firstly, I was impressed with the little Vanity Magazine in the trove, the first for Vanity Trove!

In the magazine, there are little write-ups for their collaborations with some brands, as well as multiple coupons for us to use! This magazine will also share “how to” tips, inspirational ideas as well as more to make each and ever day totally beauty-filled.

Vanity Trove is getting more buzz with all these amazing brands such as La Mer and Bobbi Brown advertising with them.

In the January 2013 trove, the first in this new year:

Yuskin A Hand Cream (S$14.90)

A rich, gentle and moistursing cream that will bring a sigh of relief to dry skins. This top-selling moisturizer in Japan is loved for its light and non-greasy applicaiton. It contains Vitamin E and Glycyrrhetinic Acid to heal chapped skin. There are no steroids  artificial colouring or preservatives.

Albion Skin Conditioner Essential (S$82 for 165ml)

Stress, UV rays, pollution can wreck havoc on healthy skin. When your skin needs tender loving care, soothe it with Albion skin conditioner. This toner is for sensitive skin, and it contains Coix lacryma-jobi (Job’s tears) and is rich in ingredients that enhance skin’s self-recuperative capacity and restores metabolic rhythm.

Bifesa Makeup Remover (S$16.90)

Bifesta makes removing a full face of makeup convenient and easy that you will have no excuse. This water based makeup remover is gentle and yet powerful enough to get rid of the most stubborn makeup including waterproof mascara. This non sticky and non oily formula wont clog your pores and leaves your skin feeling refreshed.

My Beauty Diary (S$16.90 for 10 pc)

These soothing facial masks have become a favourite weekly ritual for those who crave a luxurious treat at an affordable price. The masks come in pampering varieties to suit different skin care needs. Each sheet mask is made from eco-friendly plant fibres and has a soft and unique three-layered structure that is perfectly plush and comfortable.

Astalift lotion (S$64 for 150ml)

Quench thirsty skins with the rich and pampering ASTALIFT lotion, which prepares your skin for the benefits of the Astalift Essence or Emulsion. Contains super antioxidant Astaxanthin, three different types of collagens to enhance hydration and Hyluronan to help the skin retain moisture.

Truelife Lingzhi Immunity (S$58.80)

This is perfect when you are feeling frazzled by hectic schedules or just looking to improve your general well-being. A delicious concentrated health supplement drink for people of all ages. TruLife Lingzhi Immunity combines Vitamins B1, B2, B6 and C, Zinc as well as Red Dates, Longan, Wolfberries and Gan Chao extracts.

Slim Secret Bars (S$3.90)

Get an energy boost with the Slim Secrets! This yummy snack bar comes in tempting flavors and contains NeOppuntia, an antioxidant derived from the prickly Pear Cactus that reduces fat absorption naturally. This snacking sensation is only 123 calories per serve with generous protein content to keep you going.

I tried this a day before in the office and this is a great snack. My flavour is chocolate with caramel. While I don’t taste much of the caramel, the chocolate taste is sufficient and definitely not too sweet. This is definitely a great low calorie snack.
