NOTD: Chinese New Year
Hi all!
Today is the Chinese new year, the first day of the Lunar Calendar!
First off, I would like to wish all those who celebrate it a HAPPY LUNAR NEW YEAR!
????!

(picture is from wikipedia)
Hope you are enjoying your holidays spent with your relatives and friends! I am not doing any visiting though since all my relatives are overseas, but at least I get to spend my quality time with my family
For my nails, I am sticking to the most obvious colour, red!

Essence 67 Make it golden, 66 Shiny Goddess, Essie Limited Addiction Essie Shine Of the Times
Initially, I wanted to apply the gold glitter chunks on top of the red polish but I think it just doesn’t look right.
So I ended up applying the gold glitters on a bronze polish on my ring finger.
As usual, glitter polish on the ring finger and flakies on the thumb.
This is my first time wearing a red polish because I am always intimidated by red. However, I find that this red actually suits my skintone. It is quite cool-toned, something similar to the dark red blood you get from our main arteries. I purchased this Essie polishe, almost 7 months back in Hong Kong (haul post HERE) for $7! I think I would be wearing this Essie red polishes more often now.
Today, I am ending this post with my cutie-pie.
