NOTD: Birthday Rainbow Nails + Paul Pâtisserie

On October 24, 2012 by Michelle

Hi all!

So I celebrated my birthday last week and this is the set of nails I had sported. Since now it is Fall in most countries, I reached out for the darker shades to paint my rainbow nails.

I think these colours compliments each other well, but it would have looked better if the green is darker, like a dark forest green.

Does that means I have a reason to buy more polish? *whistles*

My next idea is to do an ombre nails, havent tried that before.

Here are the nail polishes that I have used.

Left to Right: American Apparel Berry, China Glaze First Mate, Essie Limited Edition

Left to Right: Essie Limited Edition, OPI Jade is the new black, OPI You don’t know jacques

Bought myself two slices of birthday cake from The Coffee Bean & Tea Leafs for my birthday! Yes, I bought myself my own birthday cake. Tiramisu and Red Velvet! My favourite!

On Friday, I had a celebration with my best friends and they bought a cake for me, yum!

Just last Sunday, I had a flea at SCAPE. Thanks for those who came down! Had a pretty fun time trying to clear everything, even at crazy prices like $1 to $2!

Since Takashimaya was nearby SCAPE, my family and I headed there for dinner and had Paul Pâtisserie for dessert.

Apple tart!

Their tart is fairly good, I especially love the crispy pastry sheets as the base.

The canele below however, is not my favourite.

The texture is kind of weird. Tasted the rum in it but overall, not my favourite dessert.

All in all, as i have tried Paul Pâtisserie and Tiong Bahru Bakery in the same week, I find Tiong Bahru Bakery having better pastries and desserts.

All photos are taken using Iphone 5.

Thanks for reading ~
