MAC 168

On February 6, 2010 by Michelle

I’ve been seeking a decent blush/contour brush for a while, and since I came across a BN mac 168 for sale online, I decided to purchase it. I keep telling myself that mac brushes are worth the splurge, and it truly is.

It is made with natural bristles, and as such the brush is soft and fluffy (I love!). I am glad that It hasn’t shed any hair when I wash it. I am pretty sure the essence of beauty duo brush works the same as mac168 but I have no idea where to get my hands on the brush. One con is that the brush is quite flimsy, because its so soft, thus it didn’t manage to apply contouring powder on my face as precise as I wanted it to. Nevertheless, I am loving it for blushes, and occasionally use it for contouring.

The next time, I would really would like to try the new Sigma brush SS197. I don’t really agree with Sigma for “copying” mac brushes but I would totally support Sigma if they come up with their own brush. And since they did, I am going to get SS197 🙂 Also, is anybody selling ELF studio powder brush?
