Haul + NOTD : Valentine’s Day (plus recipe for Red velvet cupcake)
Today is Valentine’s day! Well, I’m not pro-Vday but neither am I anti-Vday. I guess I am in between although I do speak lovey-dovey words to my beloved dog. Anyway, in the spirit of Valentine’s day, here is my NOTD!
- Essence 72 Time for Romance
- Color Club Best Dressed List
- Seche Vite topcoat
Both colours matched each other quite well as they are more of a rose shade than a true pink. Best dressed list from Color Club is one of my favourite “neutrals” that I like to wear. It is a nice muted rose shade.
This Essence polish is from my latest mini Watsons haul below.
This tiny Essence polish only cost $2.80 and I am still on a hunt for another polish that is always out of stock! The other polish would be 78 Blue Addicted. My Essence collection is growing! View HERE for my previous Essence haul.
This is 3 layers of Time for Romance. I really like Essence polishes. Not only are they affordable, and easy to apply, the shades that they produce are quite similar to those from Deborah Lippman! For example Essence 78 Blue addicted is a dupe for Deborah Lipmman Across the Universe!
I cannot wait for Blue Addicted to be back in stock at Watsons. At the mean time…
Just baked a batch of Red velvet cupcakes with my best friend for her fiance a few days back. Here are two recipes that I follow and I think with this, your Red Velvet Cake would be delicious! I made little tweaks here and there, but these would be the basic fool-proof recipes.
