I was so lucky to have found someone on the forum selling her new Chanel Le Blanc Light Mastering Fluid Foundation for just $55! Retail price of this foundation is at $79. That is 30% of savings! Much better than the Metro 20% sales coming this 26th March Saturday.
This is the latest foundation that Chanel has released together with their Le Blanc line.
“Inspired by the fine pearl, the beauty secret of Mademoiselle Chanel and a model of radiance and perfection, CHANEL creates LE BLANC: a new whitening range featuring skincare and makeup.
Specially designed for Asian skin, the fine, lightweight LE BLANC fluid foundation melts over the skin to reveal an absolutely luminous complexion with a delicate semi-matte finish.
The groundbreaking Mineral Ceramic Pigments optically erase imperfections and dark spots for a perfectly even and translucent complexion. Along with the anti-dulling and anti-yellowing action of Pearl Protein Extract, moisturization is encouraged for smooth, plumped skin that glows with radiance.
A key whitening ingredient, the Liquorice Extract balances melanin production to enhance a fair complexion. SPF 25 / PA+++ protects the skin from sun rays and helps preserve its original beauty. Your pearl-perfect complexion looks plumped and radiant all day long… “

The shade that I bought is B10 beige – pastel as the sample in B20 which I tried from my post HERE, is a tad dark for me, similar to my Chanel Mat Lumiere in B20. I tried the sample a few days ago and it smells fantastic – peach is the word I would describe it. In fact, this foundation contains some citrus acid as the last ingredient which would explains the scent. Citrus acid is actually an irritant for sensitive skin but since this comes last in the ingredient list, I presume the percentage level is very low. Also, I did not feel any stinging feeling when I tried the sample.
Well why did I treat myself to a new Chanel foundation? That’s because my Chanel Mat Lumiere is almost finished! In addition, I really wanted to try Le Blanc line even thought this foundation has not whitening properties at all. However, it has SPF25 which is awesome as some days I am just lazy to apply my Kose Sekkisei SPF50 sunscreen. I will only start using this new foundation when I finish my Mat Lumiere! So you might have to wait a while more for a review for this foundation!
One thing I notice, the packaging is a tad different from Mat Lumiere packaging except for the frost glass bottle and the pump! I hate the Mat Lumiere pump because it clogs! Here is a picture of my Mat Lumiere pump:
I know disgusting! Sorry to gross you out, but I do make sure I clean the pump every few days!
