If you know me, I like to depot everything I can, just so that I can store them in my palettes (Mac palette / Z palette). I have purchased eyeshadow pans (without the pot) from various brands such as Coastal scents hot pots or Star Makeup Haven or even Inglot. My search for more of these is never ending and so I decided to try BH cosmetics after seeing this brand popping up in YouTube many times.
Here are the shades that I have gotten:
BH cosmetics classify them as Warm Mattes, Cool Mattes, Warm Shimmer, Cool Shimmer, Metallic Matte, Metallic shimmer.
You can get these pans in a 6 pan palette ($13.96) or a 15 pan palette ($24.46). The palette is very sturdy, unlike some regular empty pan plastic palettes that I have encountered.
- WM20 – Hot pink
- WM03 – Matte orange
- WM06 – Matte coral
- MM10 – Matte brown
- CM15 – Aqua-turqoise (almost like Tiffany box)
They are fairly pigmented. It kind of reminds me of MAC matte eyeshadows where their pigmentation is fairly okay and not very smooth. I prefer Star Makeup Haven eyeshadows but these are pretty okay as BH cosmetics has pretty colours. The metallic matte finish is much smoother but don’t be fooled by the word “metallic” as I can barely see any sheen in the eyeshadow. My favourite colours would be the coral and the tiffany blue shade. I presume these would work better when it is wet or when you use a sponge applicator. I shall try these eyeshadows when I return from Hong Kong next week.
