Food: Dulcet & Studio at Liang Court

On February 6, 2013 by Michelle Ng

Hey Hey!

Me and my makeup-addict pals headed to Dulcet & Studio at Liang Court on Saturday after an Origins event (post coming up soon!). What pulled me into this restaurant was its refreshing interior whenever I drove past River Valley Road.

This is a Japanese x Western fusion cafe.

This well-lit area (with the cafe facing the road) is a cozy café to unwind and relax in this rushing city district.

Spot the ovens? Aside from the café, the Studio will give customers the opportunity to gain skills through our classes.

The cafe is actually designed by one of the top Japanese designers based out of Tokyo. Am totally digging the design!

Like any other modern Japanese cafes you find in Japan, their glass displays are always filled with countless number of confectionery cakes and baked goodies.

This image immediately brings me back to the time during my Osaka trip last year!

More sweet bakes!

Never ending number of sweets!

All the cakes above and even the drinks are good for takeaways for you to enjoy at the comfort of your home.

Like any other cafe, coffee is in their menu and their range of coffee is pretty good.

Still I ended up with my old regular cappuccino.

Me and my pals all ordered pasta because of their specialty pasta is imported from Hokkaido. Unlike italian pasta, these pasta from Dulcet & Studio are chewy and fun to eat, just like ramen!

My cup of coffee next to Mentaiko Salmon Pasta. All their pastas are between the price range of $12 to $16.

Bacon and Mushroom Cabonara

Look at that cripsy bacon!

Seafood black ink tagliolini pasta is the best among all three I have tried so far.

Despite having stuffed ourselves full from the pasta, we still managed to make some room for the desserts! It’s impossible to miss those desserts with them having greeted you at the entrance of the cafe!

We went with the extra light tea time cake.

This is a chocolate sponge cake with chocolate mousse, making this cake light yet sinful at the same time. This is one of their hotsellers, priced at only $2++.

Mont Blanc is at $6 and if you have a sweet tooth, you would definitely like this one. The cream underneath this swivel pile of chestnut cream is sweet yet filled with custard goodness.
