Event: L’Oreal Curl Impact Collagene Mascara

On March 23, 2011 by Michelle Ng

Hello!

I attended a blogger’s event for the new launch of L’Oreal Curl Impact Collagene mascara. This is the asian version of the Millions mascaras sold in USA. I shall explain on how different this is compared to the USA version.

Our speakers from L’Oreal, Stella and Shin:

Some nibble bites provided by the restaurant Dozo (River Valley Point Shopping Centre) which me and Joanna (MissJology) finished before lunch!

Bloggers went snapping away with their cameras:

Before I get onto with the food pictures, let’s gets down to serious business – the L’Oreal Curl Impact Collagene Mascara.

L’Oreal claims that this is the most luxurious mascara they have ever made, and thus you can see much effort being put into this packaging. They want you to whip out this mascara while touching up and catch the attention of ladies or gentlemen around you.

How does this help for asian women? One of the problems in asian lashes is that they are either straight or droopy and hence is unable to hold a curl well. This mascara does all the tricks in holding the curl, giving 13x more curl and volumizes our lashes. As such, an eyelash curler is not needed at all! What’s in the formula that is so special? Thanks to amplifying collagene and curl fixing complex!

Having dual sides to the wand, each side allows application for different purposes.

The flat side gives us more volume to our lashes. Use it in a zig-zag motion from the roots of our lashes.

The spiral side holds your curl.

With easy removal with just warm water, this mascara would fuss free! And fret not, this is smudge proof as well.

This mascara costs $26.90.

L’Oreal also featured their new shades for their Open Eyes Pro palettes, in Turquoise, Smokey brown, Icy Purple and Vivid green.

Get them in stores now! These are the perfect colours for spring and they are pigmented!

In addition, to win a $100 L’Oreal hamper, you can simply answer a question in L’Oreal Facebook page on this question, “What is luxury for your eyes?”

Now its food time! As stated earlier on, the even was held at Dozo restaurant at River Valley Point.

Please clean up your saliva, thank you.

At the end of the event, Smooch.com.sg which is a blogshop in Singapore showcased their new collection by having a mini fashion runway show!

This is the photo of the shop logo taken by my camera and look at where the microphone is!

The blogshop owner showcased us their magazine-featured convertible dress which you can wear it toga, halter or strapless!
