On September 11, 2012 by Michelle Ng

Hi all!

“While on a trip up to the Great Britain, GlamoGirl fell into a starry love affair with all things English. Unafraid to bring her love baggage home, she flew back to Singapore with her treasure trove of beauty products, chief among them brands such as Dirty Works and Exposed. ”

GlamoGirl is a new venture in the beauty industry, bringing in a few popular brands from the Great Britain, namely Dirty Works and Exposed.

I was invited to the GlamoGirl party “Glam Rocks” party held at Naumi Hotel, and was introduced to the two brands!

Let’s rock and roll!

Dirty Works

Get wet with Dirty Works’ range of skin care and bath products. From scrubs to washes and even a face mask, bare it all and let the new, glamorous you shine!

Dirty Works Gently Does It Facial Wipes

Effective yet gentle on the skin, Dirty Works’ dermatologically tested Gently Does It Facial Wipes is suitable for all skin types. Make-up and other impurities are efficaciously removed in one simple step, leaving your skin looking and feeling fruity fresh. Anti-oxidant properties protect your skin against aging, while skin-soothing Marshmallow and Cranberry Extract help nourish and moisturise.

The wipes are really smooth, similar to my favourite facial wipes of all times – Boots. With such soft cotton, I can rest assure my sensitive skin won’t react to this wipes. And this wipes has Marshmallow extract! How cute!

Between these two body butter, my favourite has to be the Dirty Works Supreme Cream Body Butter, because of its shea butter content, making it very moisturizing for the skin. Even though the butter is rich and hydrating, there is no stickiness and surprisingly, the products get absorbed into the skin quick!

Dirty Works Rumpy Plumpy Lip Plumper

Increase your pout to perfect proportions with Dirty Works’ tasty, chocolate-orange flavoured, Rumpy Plumpy Lip Plumper! Dirty Works You Soft Touch Hand Cream

All you need for silky soft hands, Dirty Works’ You Soft Touch Hand Cream contains moisturising Cocoa Butter and Jojoba Oil to leave your hardworking hands feeling super-silky yet non-greasy!

This is really non-greasy, perfect for ladies in the office. Why? So that you won’t smear all the lotion over your keyboard! I hate the feeling when my hands are still sticky. Luckily this hand cream has a pretty good absorption rate.

Retails: S$8.90 (100ml)

Dirty Works Bare Necessity Body Lotion

Bare when you dare with Dirty Works’ Bare Necessity Body Lotion! Its blend of Shea Butter, Cocoa Butter and Vitamin work fabulously well to hydrate and deliver silky, sexy, skin from top to toe.

This pink slippers is just so fluffy and comfortable! I brought them home to wear!

Now onto the next station, manicure time!

Exposed Professional Nail Lacquer

Formulated by Fiabila Nail Technologies of Paris, a firm of French origin specialising in the manufacture of nail polishes, Exposed’s professional nail lacquers are of the highest standard of quality, at the best possible price.

Retails at: S$12.00 (15 ml)

Exposed’s 72 exhaustive shades of nail lacquer! It was impossible to capture all the shades in one frame!

Creams, glitters, neons, metallics, you name it, they have it!

My favourite has to be this purple/magents glitter polish. When it comes to choosing the colours for my manicure, I was indecisive. How to choose when you are given 72 shades!

In the end, I ended up picking this black with micro green shimmers and a layer of teal glitter polish over my thumb and ring finger.

You probably can’t really see, but the green shimmers / glitters are really fine in the black polish. I’m loving the teal glitter polish as well!
