Collective haul: Korres + Drugstore

On June 28, 2010 by Michelle

I still have some purchases not yet posted up. Not only that, I have failed my Project 5 pan. Details will be up in the next post. With all the sales everywhere, its really difficult not to buy. I guess my self-control must be improved on.

Korres was (is?) having a sale on their Korres lip butters. I first saw them when I subscribed to Makeupbytiffanyd’s youtube channel. This product appeared quite a number of times on her videos.

These lip butters retail for SGD22(?) and they were on sale for only $12.90. Its still pricey for a lip balm but I believe that we are paying for the quality. This lipbalm stays on my lips for a long time, hence moisturizing my lips for a long period of time. How long exactly? Hours! No reapplication would be needed.

I picked up Jasmine as is the most raved flavour. The colour applied sheer on my lips but I love the smell of it. The only con for this is that its in a pot and thus it can be gross dipping your dirty fingers in it to apply on your lips. Well that’s where the korres lipbutter sticks come in but it was not on sale so I did not purchase it 😛

After trying so many lip balms since primary school, I can classify this as one of my HG lip balms.

My drugstore haul:

The L’oreal voluminous has been on my wishlist for almost a year and I finally picked it up! I was also curious if Covergirl lash blast fusion is as good as the original orange tube. Right now, I am trying to finish my Sephora mascars I hauled here (Reviews up soon). After that, I shall try these 2 mascars. I am one of those people with very few mascaras because of the fear that they will dry up easily. Also, mascaras only have a makeup life of 3 months.

Being a nude lips fan, I purchased Revlon colorburst in soft nude too.

I actually love this more than Mac’s myth lipstick. This nude shade is very wearable and is definitly not those concealer type of nudes. However, this emphasizes the fine lines of my lips. Its funny as it feels mositurizing. Maybe I shall exfoliate my lips more but I am very please with this purchase of mine (:  Swatches of sofe nude here.

Thanks for reading ~
