Remember my previous post on The Lokal Cafe at Neil Road HERE? Like how I have mentioned that I was cafe hopping, this new cafe was another one of my treasure finds. At that point of time, this cafe opened just not ago, probably only a week or so.
Cafes with artisan breads are now on the rise. How can we not survive on carbs? If you are a bread lover, especially smelling the fragrant butter aroma when the bread was freshly baked out of the oven, you might like this cafe!
I might have posted this blog post too late as the cafe had an grand opening promotion back in June.
They carry quite a variety of pastries as well as breads. Their display of their bakes reminds me a lot of Tiong Bahru Bakery, don’t you think? Handcrafted artisan bread is the bakery café’s signature style, where every bread and pastry is baked using traditional European methods.
Beside breads, they also carry drinks like every cafe does. Nothing special in particular though. Their prices are pretty standard.
Unfortunately, they do not serve any soy milk so I went for Americano!
Their coffee is pretty standard as compared to other cafes. I didn’t order any cappuccino if not I could have commented on their latte art.
Prices are net.
Their croissant is introduced to me as their signature product of the store. Buttery and crispy is definitely the key words to describe this croissant. I wished that it was just a tad warmer, so that it really feels like the croissant was fresh out from the oven. The crunch was definitely there and it makes me to demand for more! Croissant with coffee is also a matchmake in heaven!
